I feel like you can't go to an antique shop or flea market without finding at least one depiction of a sailing ship, it's an absolute classic in my mind and one that really resonates with me as we live through tumultuous times.
Powerful imagery of a ship at the mercy of the elements over which it has no control, being battered by the cold wind and rain and waves, yet somehow surviving and sailing on, the sailors knowing that the sun is still shining beneath the clouds and keeping hope in their hearts for smooth sailing ahead.
I hope that this is worn not only with a nod to the places we go to find a little joy but as a symbol of weathering the storm and coming out stronger on the other side.
